Happy Homemaker Monday & Tempting Tuesday

Sandra at the Diary of a Stay at Home Mom has started her own Happy Homemaker Monday as a way of tying everything all together. I love it - a virtual accounting of the week. I have been wanting to simplify many of the memes I do and this is where I'm going to start. I'm anything but a simple woman, but really do need to simplify my life! So I'm combining many memes into the same post as a way to organize my week.

Around the House/On my To Do List:Cleaning out the "gadget"drawers and starting the spring cleaning to create rummage sale items for donation.

What I'm creating:A finished home so we can move forward with our lives.

In the craft basket:Sooooooooooo many UFO's and sketches for stained glass pieces that I hope to get to soon.

Looking forward to: Our upcoming Family Reunion

I am thinking & hoping: That it will only take one more coat of paint on the stairs and molding.

Favorite Blog Post of the week: I wish I had had time to do blog reading this week, but I intend to get caught up soon.

Favorite photo from last week:

Just a few dog tracks out to see if there are any new apples. Little bits of snow cling to the inside branches.
From the learning room: Nothing new this week.

Lesson learned the past few days: Don't take anything for granted. Life is short and precious and cannot be relived.

I am Thankful for:
My health. The cold I caught developed into bronchitis, but I was able to keep it from turning into pneumonia for a change.
On my Prayer List:
Our country as we move into a new regime.
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Proverbs 10:4 Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.
final blog signature.

Tammy I am so glad that I came across your blog. Oh my gosh any dish that I need to fix or just want to try something new. I love it. Thanks for all the recipes. Do you have your own cook book? If not you should.
Have A Great Day.

Hi, Tamy,

I'm glad you're feeling better.

You certainly do have 'diligent hands'! All that work on your house is a joy to behold.

I'll try to do a daybook tomorrow. Today got away from me (too busy), but I hate to miss a week. :P
