Aloha Friday

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend.
I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer.
Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog
and leave your link at An Island Life.

It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Today’s question is:
What did you want to be when you grew up?
and did you actually do it?

I always wanted to be a teacher. Yes I did it, but am a SAHM for now. I miss it often (especially at this time of year), but know someday I will go back.

An entrepreneur!

I started a business a few years back but once I had my baby it went on the back burner...and it's been there ever since!

it depends on when you asked me...
psychologist, environmental engineer, physics teacher, and more than anything I wanted to be a mother.

I'm none of those things... at least I help people all day, which they all had in common.

I wanted to be a dancer or a teacher for a career, and I always wanted to be a mom. I got the mom and teacher parts.

I knew I wanted to have a business and go to college. I ended up doing both but it took a VERY long time.

I always wanted to be a teacher. My dad was a pricipal and would bring home extra materials and gradebooks from his school. I would make up elaborate class lists and "teach" school to anyone and everyone. I did go into education- a special ed teacher and still enjoy it!

When I was younger I wanted to be an english teacher. By the time I reached my teens I wanted to become a chef. I kind of forgot all about it. Now I'm a stay at home mom trying to find my way.
