The Simple Woman's Daybook

If you would like to join in, just go visit Peggy over at The Simple Woman, read the guidelines and then add your name to Mr. Linky. (Be sure and read her new Mr. Linky guidelines). There are so many other participants sharing their day, I'm sure you'll enjoy reading through them.

FOR TODAY, OCTOBER 27, 2008 ...

Outside My Window...
Snow is lightly falling and the wind is still blowing.

I am thinking... how nice it would be to crawl back into bed and spend the day there reading.

I am thankful for... for hubby and my family! We miss family A LOT, but are still taking one day at a time.

From the kitchen... Coffee smells sooooooooooo good this morning and french toast is almost ready.

I am wearing... Levis, long sleeve tee and slippers.

I am creating... less of a mess this week with trying get the bits and pieces of this remodel out of my dining room, but now the office looks like a tornado hit it1 LOL one room at a time

I am going... not sure yet.

I am reading & learning... Cross Country Quilters by Jennifer Chiaverini.

I am hoping... to finish the bathroom molding this week.

I am hearing... golden silence.

Around the house... I am simplifying and then simplifying some more.

One of my favorite things... Whiskey curling up at my feet with her head tucked between my ankles.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... Organization, organization and some more organization.

Here is picture thought I am sharing... St. Germain Lake last weekend at the OktoBEARfest.

I just came across Simple Woman the other day. I am going to do this...but I am going to write it all in a beautiful notebook that I found over the weekend.

What a fabulous idea!

Hi, Tamy,
It sounds like you've been working hard, organizing, remodeling, simplifying. No wonder you want to crawl back into bed with a good book for once!

Sorry I'm late commenting, ran out of time yesterday. I too would love to spend the day in bed reading, but then I wouldn't be able to read all these lovely blogs.
