After checking the answering machine and the mail, she hurried downstairs to the basement. I've really enjoyed this Elm Creek Quilt series a lot and recommend it highly. SPOILER: There is no Sex, Violence or vulgar language, just clean historical intrigue!

The book closest to me is "The Pet" by Charles L Grant. The passage I came to is this: "What he needed was a respite. What he needed was for Falcone and his teachers to cave in and stop the strike. If I did this, mine would be super boring! The closest book I had was two manuals. Anything of interest would be by the love seat, the recliner or even by the bed.

I love the Elm Creek series too, as a matter of fact I just picked up The Quilter's Kitchen from the library, can't wait to read, and hey, it's got recipes LOL
