Vintage Thingies Thursday is hosted by Suzanne at Coloradolady. Show & Tell Friday is Hosted by Kelli at There is No Place Like Home.

I love this old lamp. It's milk glass and quite old. If you look closely there is a cameo on the bottom half. It pretty much survived the 1994 Northridge earthquake with the exception of a small broken spot on the rear of the bottom half that isn't noticeable. There is a nightlight in the bottom half and regular bulb in the top half. It appears to have once been an oil lamp that was converted to electric.

Those milk glass lamps were always so pretty, and homey. The nightlight always had such a soft glow.
