MUSTARD CHICKEN

I SAW THIS RECIPE AND HAD TO TRY IT.  WHILE I'M DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO MUSTARD, HUBS EATS IT ON EVERYTHING.  SO, I DECIDED TO TRY THIS FOR HIM WITH A SMALL SWITCH FOR ME.  I TRADED THE MUSTARD FOR MAYONNAISE ON MINE.
MUSTARD CHICKEN
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar (I used blood orange vinegar)
Salt & Pepper
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, mix together mustard, syrup, and vinegar.
  • Place chicken breasts into 9×13 baking dish.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour mustard mixture over chicken. No need to marinate.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.

I saw that on pinterest as man-pleasing chicken. Was it man-pleasing? Paul really likes mustard too. I pinned it to make some night soon.

Here is where I found it
Man Pleasing Chicken

She mentioned it was adapted from this cookbook originally:
The I Love Trader Joe's Cookbook
which has really good reviews so I thought I might try it.

I like mustard based bbq sauces so I bet I'd like this as grilled chicken!

Allergic to mustard? Sad:( it's sooooo good.

I know - love it! Seriously sad - like being allergic to chocolate! Love the grilling idea.
