Aloha Friday

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would participate and take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Today’s question is:
Turkey, Ham or something else for Christmas?

Since we are home this year it will be ham. At my parents it's usually leg of lamb or hangikjot (best spelling I can do in English)

Chinese food! It is a Christmas tradition that hubby's family and mine both did. It is where you find a lot of Jewish people ;)

My husband is anti-Turkey. Who knows why, he just says he doesn't like the taste or texture. So we get to eat Both! Which makes me happy.

Christmas eve we cook a gigantic ham at our house because usband loves them. Christmas is at father in laws and will be turkey and ham there. Can't wait I have always wanted to try something different but family is too rich in tradition

well for me it's turkey all the time! lol. but if i remember correctly usually at my parents house they do both turkey & ham for christmas, so it's the best of both worlds!

This year turkey because my sister is hosting. It used to be ham. It's also been pot luck, and once, enchiladas. Tex-mex is pretty common in Texas, particularly tamales for the Hispanic culture. I personally don't care for them, but I love enchiladas.
